\u200b\u200b<\/span>The sixth edition of the Cultural Mediation Forum addresses the theme of nature as a medium and subject of cultural mediation and connected fields: pedagogy, education, science communication.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

How do culture and nature meet in mediation? What alternative models of ecological education and complex understanding of the world exist? How do art and science collaborate to explore the natural environment? And how are they working together to develop soft skills? What organic ways of integrating art and science into sustainable practices inspire us? How do artists, scientists, educators and mediators develop an understanding and a living awareness of the importance of the natural environment among young people and adults?<\/span><\/p>

Observing and interacting with nature challenges us to discover the world and the deep connections between humans and all that is non-human. We develop empathy and prepare for a future where sustainability and responsibility are essential.<\/span><\/p>

The climate crisis is the burning issue of our times. More and more events, institutions and cultural spaces cultivate critical thinking and offer formats for dialog and learning about the topic. What cultural mediation strategies increase civic awareness about the role of individuals and communities in the face of climate change?<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Learning from nature is carried out through interactive methods and care for the environment that contribute to a balanced society. Through partnerships, events and tailored cultural and educational spaces we look at ecology as a subject as well as an operating and design principle.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

What kind of world are we handing down to future generations? Ecology and sustainability matter because we are concerned about the future, we are mindful of resources and the human relationship with the natural environment, and education is the essential ground where we start to act in this direction. How can art and culture be a good mediator for these topics?<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Nature is fertile ground for experimenting with new mediation practices, and different perspectives naturally come together and draw on this vitality and inspirational power when they are engaged with nature. During the Forum we will navigate through mediation practices that come from education or culture, from science and art, from theory and action, through the experience and good practice examples illustrated by mediators, educators, scientists and artists.<\/span>

The Central Park is the second chapter of the augmented reality application LOC. Through it, visitors to the park can immerse themselves in a series of interactive installations that explore less known elements of the biodiversity of this popular and loved location.\n\nWe will experience LOC in a guided tour and an interactive experience with Marius Mornea, part of the team which developed the platform.
