The 2024\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/academiaschimbarii.ro\/forumul-medierii-editia-2024\/\"><u>Cultural Mediation Forum<\/u><\/a>\u00a0reflected these connections and showed that nature mediation is an essential tool for promoting ecological awareness, sustainability and community-centered reconnection. The central theme &#8220;We learn from nature&#8221; was reflected through a series of discussions and workshops that emphasized the vital link between art, science and education, such as:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dcd7c20 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dcd7c20\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><b>Appreciative approach to community and environmental activism:<\/b>\u00a0<b>Ana-Maria Paladu\u0219\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0<b>Bogdan Gioar\u0103\u00a0<\/b>led a workshop in which participants explored perspectives on the positive motivations that drive people&#8217;s engagement for change in nature and community.<\/li><li><b>Models of environmental education<\/b>:\u00a0<b>Eva Stein<\/b>\u00a0shared experiences of Haus der Kulturen der Welt&#8217;s innovative environmental education programs that have had a positive impact on young people, highlighting how art can create a safe space for dialogue and exploration.\u00a0<b>Andreia Bruckner<\/b>\u00a0brought the perspective of the accessibility of cultural programs and the importance of programs dedicated to young visually impaired young people in relation to nature.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c9a216b elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"c9a216b\" impact on aquatic environments and demonstrated how artistic practices can bring complex scientific realities to the forefront and\u00a0<b>Mimi Ciora<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Gavril Pop<\/b>\u00a0talked about their artistic projects dedicated to young people and the importance of creating the right context for interaction with young people around urban ecology themes.<\/li><\/ul><div><ul><li><b>Environmental education for activating communities<\/b>:\u00a0<b>Sabina Baciu<\/b>\u00a0showed how film and art events can stimulate dialog about the climate crisis and cultivate critical thinking among young people, while\u00a0<b>Alina Teodorescu<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Alina Zar\u0103<\/b>\u00a0told about projects that are strongly rooted in the communities where they work and that meet with areas such as crafts or entrepreneurship.<\/li><li><b>Good communication of technical data about nature in mediation<\/b>:\u00a0<b>Tibor Hartel<\/b>\u00a0talked about the importance of good communication and specialized knowledge to have a real impact and\u00a0<b>Dana Peca<\/b>\u00a0illustrated by her own example the professional migration between research, education and civic action.<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30dba7f elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"30dba7f\" their experiences on how crafts and the relationship with the natural environment can be integrated into artistic and educational practices to support sustainable living and cultural heritage preservation.<\/li><li><b>Resources and learning contexts<\/b>:\u00a0<b>Bianca B\u0103il\u0103<\/b>\u00a0talked about the \u0218tiin\u021bescu Program, a fund dedicated to science communication programs in communities,\u00a0<b>Claudia \u0218erb\u0103nu\u021b\u0103<\/b>\u00a0complemented with her perspective on the essential role of libraries as true community hubs, and the guided tour and workshop facilitated by\u00a0<b>Marius Mornea<\/b>\u00a0showed that augmented reality can support the exploration of lesser-known elements of biodiversity in places we think we know very well, such as consultant), and participation was free of charge.<\/p><p><i>&#8220;For six editions we have been organizing the Cultural Mediation Forum as a space for meeting, learning and inspiration for those working at the intersection of art, culture and education.<\/i>\u00a0<i>Each edition, however, opens surprising perspectives, revealing through the chosen theme new initiatives that make culture or science relevant and understandable to the public, but also affirming, step by step, this field of cultural mediation as a relevant and consistent one through so many diverse was the official launch of the Mediation+ Virtual Library, an innovative digital platform dedicated to supporting the ongoing training of cultural professionals.
